**Fixture Change** On Saturday 27th October, the fixture has changed to being away at Millhead. Meet at Millhead ground at 1:00pm.

Check out the fixtures. Added Boys Club on the 13th in the Senior Challenge Cup. On Saturday we go to Bentham, can we meet at 12:15pm outside the school? The week after we go away to Storeys and Steven Hewitt has kindly offered to host a pre-match get together at his house, 28 Wellington Road at 12:00pm

Can we all try and be on time for games? We like to arrive at the ground an hour before kick-off to prepare properly.

A lot easier to write the match report this week, but I could use some volunteers to write an odd report now and then. You must be getting bored with my ramblings. Training on Wednesday 7:30pm to work towards an away trip to league leaders and early pace setters Bentham on Saturday. See you there.

Wed 27th Sept

Just added three more fixtures to our schedule, Bentham away, then a week off and then away to Storeys and then home to Marsh. Just another interesting snippet of information to share; Morecambe Royals have had 3 points deducted for fielding an unregistered player in the game against us!!! (I knew there was a reason for out loss :)

Well another gloomy result at the weekend, lets try an get everyone down to training on Wednesday and lets start using the potential we obviously have.

Training starts at Lancaster University on Wednesday 19th September. For those who haven’t been before you turn in at the Lancaster House Hotel entrance and we meet on the astro-turf pitch at 7:30pm.

Thurs 13th Sept

STOP PRESS - Finally Henry has mailed a match report for the Grange game; have a read. After thinking we had a weekend off with no game on the FA web page; I’ve just learnt that we are playing a team from Wigan in the Lancashire Cup. More news when I get it.

Tues 11th Sept

A much better performance on Saturday against Grange, not quite the result we wanted but a vast improvement. Training at the school 6:30pm on Wednesday 12th Sept. Sorry for the lack of match reports but Henry is supposed to be writing them and hasn’t sent me anything yet.

Fri 7th Sept

Well two defeats on the bounce now, we really need a win away at Grange on Saturday 8th September or the great start to the season will be worth nowt. Meet outside Carnforth High School at 12:30pm.

Tues 4th Sept

Still grumpy about last night. Still we’ve got to come back stronger and harder to face Cartmel on Wednesday night at home. Meet at the school at 5:30pm. If Steve hasn’t texted you then you’re in the squad. Lets rally and work together to challenge Cartmel, who will prove strong opposition. We can do it!!

The run keeps going, I’m feeling really positive. The next match is at home on Monday 3rd September and we welcome local rivals Millhead for what usually proves to be a hard battling derby. Meet at the school at 5:30pm.

Another amazing result at Westgate. My body is now not speaking to me after the abuse of the last 2 games in 3 days. Next Boys Club at home on Wednesday 29th Aug (4 days recovery!!) meet at Carnforth High School at 5:30pm. If anyone can make it earlier then please do, the goal posts need putting up for the first time. I’ve added a League table and stats page today so check it out, let me know if you disagree with anything.

Fantastic win at Boys Club! Next Westgate Wanderers away on Saturday 25th Aug. One days recovery woo hoo! Not sure some of the older players will relish this game coming so quickly! Meet at Westgate at 1:00pm

Wed 15th Aug

Training next at Carnforth High School on Wednesday 16th August at 6:30 then more training Tuesday 21st August at 6:30 then the first league game of the season Thursday 23rd August at Boys Club meet there at 5:30 - 5:45pm.

Wed 8th Aug

This Saturday the Vine play their next friendly against Tebay. Players should meet at the front of Carnforth High School at 12:45pm. Please let Steve know if you are unable to make it.
